Welcome to our 4th Biennial Fiesta.

Contemporary dance embracing cultures and audiences.
Celebrate with Odyssey Dance Theatre the 4th Xposition ‘O’ Contemporary Dance Fiesta. Since the fiesta’s premiere in 2001, we have sustained the high quality of our shows, making Singapore’s only contemporary dance fiesta a unique experience for our audiences.

At Xposition ‘O’, we have been sharing the passion and beauty of contemporary dance with more than 5,500 dance fans and professional artists from Australia, China, Finland, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Singapore and USA; moments which we are aiming to recreate in present and future events.

This year, we present the internationally acclaimed works of Raka Maitra (India / Singapore), Lee Jung-Yeon & Namjin Kim (South Korea) and Cathy Seago and Dancers (UK), as well as a brand-new choreography performed by ODT - with topics ranging from darkness, solitude and the perception of infinite space to the overcoming of boundaries and the necessity of dreams and emotions. Let yourself fall into a new experience where artistic perfection, exceptional creativity and witty innovation combine to create outstanding artworks in an intimate setting.

At this year’s fiesta, the master classes held by our celebrated guest artists will peak in a cross-cultural improvisation jam, where participants exchange their ideas, impressions and emotions in a unique non-verbal manner. As part of our community outreach programme, we have featured a 2-month “Artist-In-Residence” Scheme with Cathy Seago and Dancers from the UK, offering technique and choreography workshops to our local students and dance professionals.

Through their commitment and enthusiasm for ODT’s vision, Xposition ‘O’ has become an established international platform, promoting intercontinental as well as Singaporean contemporary arts and creativity.
