Seo Dong Hyun & Company

Upon his graduation from Dance Dep. of Keimyung University in 2000, SEO DONG HYUN has been an active dance artist in Korea, constantly searching for new avenues and interpretations of contemporary dance and dance making.

A prolific dance artist, Dong Hyun was a dancer at Ahn Ae Soon Contemporary Dance Company from 2000 - 2002 after his vocation as a teacher at Hansung Technical College in 2000. Since 2001, he has danced in several dance works - "Distance", "Making Block" in 2001 New Choreographer's Festival, "Family, from Ascension to Descent", "Cinderella Yijiral", "Yeobaek (Balnk)", "Carmen Sandiego's Trace" and "Gut (Exorcism)-play" in Japan.

Since 2001, Dong Hyun has also choreographed several dance works such as "The Trite Story" at Dream & Vision 2001, "Fame" at Baekje Arts College and "To the Interior of Jazz" at Daeku Dance Festival.

A graduate from the Interdisciplinary Program in Performing Art Dep. of Sungkyunkwan University's Graduate School, Dong Hyun has recently choreographed "Tongue off, Temperature on " at Dream & Vision 2003 and is currently choreographing for Dance of Daeku Summer Universiade Games.

XPOSITION 'O' CONTEMPORARY DANCE FIESTA 2003 marks his major international debut, with his recent work "Tongue off, Temperature on " to be performed during the fiesta in Singapore.
