For the promotion of continued cultural exchanges,
ODT has organised the XPOSITION 'O' CONTEMPORARY DANCE FIESTA
2001 (www.xposition-o.com) in November 2001 - a varied series
of professional performances, master classes and workshops by
ODT and international dance bodies.
The first of its kind in Singapore,
this biennial event aims to elevate the presence of local professional
contemporary dance in the international domains while promoting
professional contemporary dance to our local audiences.
Through our mainhouse season productions,
ODT has also forged close working relations with various international
practitioners and organizations such as Emeritus Professor Susan
Street (Dean of Dance, HKAPA), Park Hobin (Korea),
Lee Ming-Cheng (Taiwan), Kuo Jing Hong (Singapore),
Expressions Dance Company (Australia), HKAPA (Hong Kong),
Dance Forum Myra Beltran (Philippines) & Labayen Dance
/ SF (USA).

To date, at least 15,500
people have attended our 14 MAINHOUSE SEASONS,
with an additional 10,000 people reached through
OUTREACH PROGRAMMES and LOCAL INVITATIONS.
ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAMMES &
ARTISTE-IN-SCHOOL PROGRAMME (since Year 2000) exposed to at
least 1,500 pupils from Northland annually and another
1,900 pupils within the Cluster.
As part of our community reach,
residents and beneficiaries from 16 welfare organisations
have attended several of our mainhouse season productions since
year 2000.
